DELF TEST
The test is taken to evaluate the proficiency of non-native speakers of French. The test is known as DELF (Diplome d’etudes en langue francaise). The Delf examination is organized by the French Ministry of Education. The Delf diploma is the Official French proficiency exam just as the TOEFL is for the English language. DELF is the sole examination valid in the international standards for language assessment. This examination is held by Alliance Francaise. This institute is associated with the French Embassy.
TEST FORMAT
There are six levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. Each level contains four modules comprising of Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking. Test for all the modules is held on the same day.
The score of DELF is given in percentage and 50% is the passing marks.
This examination is held every 3 months.
